Jay was totally robbed

I don't often get the opportunity to voice my opinions on Project Runway, or other reality shows outside of TV Squad, but I realized one big thing: Jay was robbed last week for making it into the finals. Mila's outfits skewed old and outdated, while Jay represented a very fashion-forward thinking. While I'm not going to gush over all his pieces, I do think that he didn't pick the correct three outfits to show to the judges. I found his final (decoy) collection on YouTube and wanted to share it with ya'll.

I'm convinced that he should have picked one of the two flowing dresses, preferably the black/almost purple one to counter Mila's mention of experimenting with a little bit of purple.

Either way, I wish Jay the best.

More TV reviews

Here's my reviews of last nights Project Runway and Grey's Anatomy:

Project Runway: A Fashionable New Beginning - TV Squad

Grey's Anatomy: Tainted Obligation - TV Squad

As an aside, I'm a little apprehensive still about Survivor. They keep shoving Russell down our throats as the most evilest villain ever. It's annoying. That's why the Amazing Race wins Emmys and you guys bitch and moan. It's quality level.

As seen on TV

There’s something I don’t trust about things seen on TV. I did get the opportunity to watch a few episodes of Pitchmen, the show following Billy Mayes and Anthony Sullivan, during their whole Billy Mayes tribute day. It helped soften the distrust actually. The two of them continuously tested the products, turning interns and assistants into guinea pigs. They wouldn’t put their stamp of approval on just anything.

Products seen on television for me are hit and miss. First, a kind of miss. I purchased a Snuggie for Eric (I am disappointed that leopard print didn’t exist at that point, because that would have been funnier) and although the Snuggie kind of worked, it was mostly a gag gift. In all truths the Snuggie was a robe you put on backwards. And it had the worst static electricity associated with it. It could have been the fact that it hasn’t been washed yet, but fear kicked in that the item would shrink.

(Don’t even get me started on that Dog Snuggie thing.)
