8 ) Regina Spektor - Laughing With

Love, Love, Love Regina Spektor. I've been listening to her since Soviet Kitsch and she's been growing and maturing ever since. It was actually hard for me to figure out what the hell her singles were though. I like listening to her latest album, Far, pretty much from beginning to end. Regina's hits aren't really the type to chart. (I also love the song "Eet").

Hell, I've never seen a music video for this song until I wrote this post, and I feel like an idiot for not ever seeing it. It's really beautiful. It makes me wonder how much she actually had for a budget. How much do blue/green effects cost nowadays?

Either way, I love Regina's light voice and how it just floats on the notes. I'm happy I found her back in my freshman year of College.

I'm sure someone out there was really confused by this pick. It wasn't a big hit or anything. But Regina Spektor is just that good.
