I still don’t get why there is so much hype over the film Avatar. The people are blue and are in an alternate world. Woo-hoo. I guess on paper things don’t grab me. I don’t think it’s amazing, on visuals or what I’ve seen the acting.

I keep reading articles about people becoming depressed because the Avatar world is not as cool as Earth. Maybe those people should go outside and actually experience the world.

Maybe because it’s because I still think that James Cameron comes off as a little smug.

Am I missing something? Probably, but I’m not running out and watching this movie. Maybe a blu-ray, but I don’t think I could sit that long in a theater.
