Selena Gomez is a Disney product, I get it. Even worse, she’s dating Justin Bieber. Why do I like her music then? It’s accessible techno-pop that is so overproduced that it’s likable. I think both songs that I loved from Selena Gomez may have been because “The Scene” was really good. I don’t think that Selena Gomez is an amazing performer live, look at this:

It’s not amazing. It’s nothing to write home to. Unless you are Chelsie Hightower. Granted, the song was a bit butchered so that it could fit into a shorter window which makes the song seem even worse. Maybe I’m a fourteen girl inside who needs reinforcing music to tell me that “I’m Beautiful.” “Who Says” is very summery and causal which works well for playing in the background. I mean the song could even fit on a Lite FM-style station, and still blend in.

Selena’s other song that ranked, “Love You Like A Love Song” fits again for it’s dance capabilities. Here’s it’s Pop up Video version:
