Notes: I will admit that I watched a few episodes of The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. The show was cheesy and Robin Antin scares me. I did see that a handful of girls with some potential. I thought that the song was horrendously catchy and quite ballsy to use the term “Shit” for a really commercial pop group. Probably something that caused this song to never really become a hit.

The beat is one of the catchiest things and I love horrendously catchy …well shit. The song has the weird porn like moans and everything. It’s a little over-the-top but it’s so fun. The video was silly and overtly sexual. I thought it was a lot of fun.

I found out that one of the members left Girlicious just recently and in the point where they sing their call-names “Nic, Nat, Tiff, Chrys” it is now called “Nic, Nat, Chrys, Yeah!” What the hell? I personally would have preferred, “Nic, Nat, AND, Chrys” Because “Chrys” sounds like it kind of rhymes with “Shit.” Kind of.

I don’t expect much from TV made pop groups, but Girlicious harmonized well (do a search for the girls practicing the national anthem) and yet they never really used it. I guess that in the end there’s just a special place in my heart for really cheesy, beat-driven pop music.
