A Blessing in Disguise
Wayyyy back in November, I suggested to my mother that we needed Dick Van Dyke to come and clean our chimney. We’ve never used it since we owned the house and I thought it would be nice to just stare at fire.
A month or so ago my mother and I were discussing our gutters. They needed help and probably needed to be replaced.
Two Tuesdays ago, my mother pointed to a pine tree and told it, “I’m taking you down.” Thinking nothing about it, she went to work.
